Crediting SharpAPI

Crediting SharpAPI

If you show odds or prices from SharpAPI to your end users, or figures we calculate from them such as expected value, Section 5.4 of the Terms of Service  requires the credit Data provided by SharpAPI with them. It applies on every plan from December 1, 2026.

This page is a guide to Section 5.4. If it and the Terms of Service  ever differ, the Terms apply.

What to showPermalink for this section

  • The words Data provided by SharpAPI, legible. You may translate them into your application’s language.
  • Where your display supports links, link the credit to https://sharpapi.io.
  • Show it on each screen or page that shows the data, or in a footer or bar that stays visible alongside it.
  • In messages and alerts, a line in each message is enough, or one in the description of the channel or account that sends them.

Personal analysis, research and internal tools need no credit.

You may mark the link however you choose. The three versions below are equal choices: each one meets Section 5.4, and we will not ask you to change the one you pick.

Plain linknone

If you show a logo or badge beside the credit, host the image file on your own servers rather than loading it from a SharpAPI address. The credit words still need to appear with it.

If the credit is missingPermalink for this section

If a display lacks the credit, we will tell you and allow 30 days to add it. A separate written agreement with us may waive or change the credit.
